Wilder Wants The Knockout

Undefeated World Boxing Council heavyweight champion, Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder, wants to show his mettle by becoming the first to halt France’s Johann “The Reptile” Duhaupas (32-2, 20 KO) with a lightning strike.  Wilder stakes his WBC crown for the second time this Saturday, at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.  The event is organised by Premier Boxing Champions, promoted by DiBella Entertainment and it will be broadcast through NBC to all the US and to Mexico via Televisa.
The 29-year old says:  ‘I couldn’t have a better opponent for my championship fight.  He has an excellent record, he’s never been KO’d, and he has the height and the weight.  It’ll  be an exciting fight, presenting tests  for me.’  The champion is currently 34-0 with 33 victories coming within the distance and added:  ‘Exciting Boxing is back in the heavyweight division and I am happy for being that reason.  I will keep starring in exciting fights for the people.  I want to be an active champion.  Since I got the championship I pledged to defend it as much as possible.  I don’t pretend I’ll be in this sport for a long time, so I am willing to fight as many times possible.’
