Scotland Announces Squad For Italy Test

Scotland coach Vern Cotter has made eleven changes made to the starting XV from the Test against Ireland, for Saturday’s clash against Italy at the Olympic Stadium in Turin.  This is the first of two meetings between the Azzurri and Scots in preparation for the Rugby World Cup in September.  Cotter has made seven of those changes in the scrum and the Highlanders will feature three debutants to boot.

Cotter says:  ‘The match on Saturday evening is a new opportunity for us to have a look overall our players ahead of the World.  I think that in Turin we expect a tough battle and we will play
slightly different from what was done with Ireland.  We expect great pressure from the Italians on our tight five.’  The match day squad is as follows:
