PSL Clubs In Hot Water

Several Premier Soccer League clubs are in hot water and face disciplinary hearings on 22 September.  Among them is Absa Premiership outfit Chippa United.  The Chilli Boys are under fire for contravening the PSL Compliance Manual after they failed to make a player’s card available for inspection an hour before kick-off of their fixture against Ajax Cape Town at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on 29 August.

Cape Town All Stars have been charged with contravening Rule 10.1 of the NSL after they failed to be at the match venue 60 minutes before kick-off of their fixture against Witbank Spurs at the Themba Senamela Stadium on 31 August.  Malut FET College have been charged with contravening the PSL Compliance Manual after their representative failed to attend the pre-match between ahead of their NFD fixture against Santos at the Athlone Stadium on 14 August as stipulated in the NSL Rules and African Warriors have been charged with contravening section 8.2 of the PSL Security Manual after they failed to ensure that the PA system was in working condition during their NFD fixture against FC Cape Town at the Charles Mopeli Stadium on 30 August.  The PA system must be in working condition at all games for security purposes (to address crowds etc).

Witbank Spurs have been charged with contravening the PSL Kit Manual after they failed to bring samples of the kit they were going to use at the pre-match meeting ahead of their NFD fixture against Cape Town All Stars at Themba Senamela Stadium on 31 August.
