New Zealand Outclass USA in Chicago

New Zealand trashed the United States 74-6 at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday night. The Americans registered their only points of the match inside the first twenty minutes and that was it. From there on it was a one sided affair as Steve Hansen’s men ran the show.

Adam Siddall slotted two penalties for the  United States to keep the margin within six points following Cory Jane’s try. Soon after the All Blacks found their rhythm, all hell broke loose. The visitors kept growing in strength and showed how cruel they can be when Sonny Bill Williams marked his return with a brace of tries. The USA was outclassed and looked helpless long before the half-time whistle.

Hansen made a handful of changes during the second half and the substitutes showed no mercy, continuing to dictate proceedings. Joe Moody, Aaron Cruden, Israel Dagg and Sam Cane were also among the scorers to see off any resistance from the Americans. The Kiwis will jet home feeling accomplished following a 74-6 thumping of the USA.
