Man United Avenge West Brom Loss

It was nonstop action as Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion went head to head on Saturday at the Hawthorns in the English Premier League.

Yellow cards were being handed out early in the game as Adnan Januzaj got one for hand handling the ball in the 12th minute.  Despite the card the player was on his A-game throughout the match especially in the first half.  In one instance he hit the ball over to the far post while Rafael responded with a  head due for goal but former Red Devils keeper Ben Foster was able to get to it and push it onto the crossbar.
It wasn’t long before Manchester United scored.  Dutchman Robin Van Persie hit a free-kick to the goal area and Phil Jones finished it off with a header to make it one-nil.  Wes Brom tried to find an equalising goal but Victor Anichebe shot across from goal.

At half-time the score was still 1-0 and fifteen minutes after the break, Juan Mata passed to Rooney who fed Rafael and the Brazilian pushed the ball into the box where Rooney had made a run and completed the move to make it 2-nil.
Yet another one was scored by the visitors towards the end courtesy of Danny Wellbeck.  Manchester United won the match 3-0 to avenge their home defeat at the hands of the Baggies in September.
