Chippa United Football Club and coach Kostadin Papic have agreed to part ways on confidential terms. In a press statement, Chippa emphasize that the parties agreed to part ways mutually due to the club’s commitment to stakeholders to appoint a technical director during this season as part of its bid to be competitive. Papic, who was not in agreement with the abovementioned decision did not wish to interfere in the arrangements of the club and rather chose to resign, the club said.
The Chilli Boys wished the 54-year old all the best in his future endeavors and thanked him for his contribution to the club. Chippa are currently 13th on the Absa Premiership table with four points from their opening five games.
