Juventus beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in their Uefa Champions League Last 16 clash in Turin on Tuesday. The game began with an attempt by Ciro Immobile, who was played in by Ilkay Gundogan. Carlos Tevez scored the first goal for Juve in the first 13 minutes of the game to hand the Serie A club the advantage.
Dortmund pulled their socks up as Marco Reus scored their first goal soon afterwards to level for the Bundesliga club. Reus was clinical with his finish to level matters. Leonardo Bonucci missed an attempt to score as he headed the ball too high.
Alvaro Morata scored the second goal for The Old Lady on the night and the Italians would not relinquish their lead. Juergen Klopp’s side tried hard to keep up with their hosts but were slightly outplayed on the night. Arturo Vidal received a yellow card for a bad foul and despite several attempts by both sides, there would not be another goal at the Juventus Stadium. Roberto Pereyra received a yellow card in the final minutes of the game as it finished 2-1 to Massimiliano Allegri’s men.
