Jacques-Louis Potgieter Ruled Out For Four Weeks

Vodacom Blue Bulls flyhalf Jacques-Louis Potgieter has been ruled out of rugby for at least four weeks following a rib injury.  According to Blue Bulls team doctor, Org Strauss, the flyhalf suffered a rib dislocation in the team’s match against Western Province in Cape Town.  Prop Mornè Mellett, who underwent a scope on his knee last week, has been ruled out for for weeks as well.

Strauss confirmed that flyhalf Tian Schoeman has recovered from injury though and will be fit for selection against the EP Kings at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.  Dean Greyling (calf), Jurgen Visser (toe), Akona Ndungane (Achilles) and Lohan Jacobs (flu) will only train on Tuesday.  Bjorn Basson will be available next week.

Pierre Spies, Flip Van Der Merwe, Arno Botha, Frik Kirsten and Jaco Visagie remain long term casualties.
