Italy Ready For Scotland

Ahead of the Test match against Scotland on Saturday in Turin, Italy reduced intensity as it prepares to inaugurate the latest phase of preparation for the Rugby Worodl Cup.  Jacques Brunel’s boys kick off its World Cup campaign against France on September 19 at Twickenham.  After two days of training on the field and in the gym, the Azzurrir enjoyed a light session of muscle work at the NH Lingotto.

Sergio Parisse and the rest of the squad retired to rest thereafter but will return to work on Thursday morning at the Sports Centre “Albonico” CUS Torino for the last week of collective training.  On Friday preparations will end with the Captain’s Run finishing at the Olympic Stadium, site of the Opening Ceremony of the 2006 Winter Games and where the Italians take the field for the third time after having faced Argentina in 2008 and Australia in 2013.   The national team then continues the retreat in Turin until Thursday, August 27, when it will fly to Edinburgh to make a visit to the highlands to play the Scots on Sunday 29 August.
