Hull City drew 1-1 against Stoke City in the English Premier League at KC Stadium on Sunday. The first half started off by fouls from Stoke players Steve Sidwell and Biram Diouf. James Chester and Stephen Quinn managed to win the first free kicks of the game but failed to put them to good use.
Chester received a red card after he kicked his opponent and the Tigers were down to ten men. Tom Ince’s left-footed shot was blocked from outside the box as the match was still looking for its first goal. With so many failed attempts from the hosts, Nikica Jelavic scored the first goal of the day with his right foot to put Steve Bruce’s men in front at half-time.
The second half was started off by fouls. Marko Arnautovic missed as the ball hit the top left corner of the goal post and Andrew Robertson became the next player to receive a yellow card. Ryan Shawcross would finally put the Potters on the board in the 83rd minute of the game.
In the end Bruce and Mark Hughes shared the spoils.
