Garcia & Guerrero Face Off

The World Boxing Council welterweight belt left vacant by the undefeated, now retired Floyd Mayweather will be contested for between Danny Garcia and Robert Guerrero.  Garcia is na undefeated former world champion while the latter is a former champion himself.  The bout takes place on Saturday January 23rd at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Ahead of the official weigh in on Friday Garcia says:  ‘This is a fight that will help me to grow.  This Saturday you will see me fighting in my best shape.  I have had 31 professional fights, most of them have been great, and this won’t be an exception.  I am not that kind of man who speaks too much.  I like to talk with my left hand inside the ring.  I am always trying to get the KO.  And I am ready for a war, in order to take the WBC belt home.’
His opponent offered this:  ‘Having the WBC world title on the line, adds more bonfire to the fight and motivates me even more to get the triumph.  I have been training hard.  I have a great opportunity to be back in the great leagues of boxing.  Defeating undefeated fighter Danny Garcia will highlight me all around all the World.’
