Arsenal thrashed Everton 4-1 in Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final at the Emirates Stadium in London. However the hosts left it late as they netted an incredible three times to move into the final four of the tournament they last won in 2005.

Ozil had not scored since December’s 1-1 Premier League draw against Everton. Mikel Arteta stood confident on the penalty spot to reclaim the lead for the Gunners, following Bareth Barry’s clumsy trip on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain before Olivier Giroud struck twice late on to seal the tie. Arsene Wenger now has another Wembley date to look forward to.
