Saul Alvarez has coined the catchphrase “I don’t dodge no one.“ The Mexican is on a collision course with Miguel Cotto, and if “Canelo” wins, he will be the new WBC middleweight belt holder. The two fighters were face to face, minus the music, at a classic movie theatre before the flicks, with Oscar De La Hoya, running the show.
Alvarez says: ‘My body asks to be inside the ring. But time has given me the experience and patience to wait for just the right moment. I feel blessed for having the people´s support and that’s motivated me to train all the harder. It will be a really hard fight. I’m not worried about Cotto´s strategy. He must do what he needs to do. I like Cotto’s style, and I still like how he fights. It’s really motivating and encouraging that he’s now my rival. These fundamental facts have helped me to concentrate wonderfully.’
