Cameron Wins Another Gold

Cameron Van Der Burgh grabbed another gold medal on the final day of the Beijing leg of the Fina World Cup 2015 on Wednesday night.  In the 100 metres breaststroke, Van Der Burgh raced to the finish in 59:76 ahead of silver medal winner, Yan Zibei of China who clocked 1:00:57 and Tommy Sucipto of Australia settled for a bronze in 1:01:16.  The Pretoria swimmer was named the best performer in the 50m breaststroke in Beijing (27:23).

The remaining legs of the World Cup will be held as follows:

  • November 6-7 – Dubai (UAE)
