Bafana Bafana had an almost full compliment of players at their morning training session on Tuesday at the UJ Stadium in Soweto. Platinum Stars striker Ndumiso Mabena, was also in attendance alongside Thulani Serero and Mandla Masango who also arrived last night. Mabena has replaced the injured Dino Ndlovu. The Mamelodi Sundowns trio of Themba Zwane, Asavela Mbekile and Hlompho Kekana are expected later today.
The good news is that defenders Anele Ngcongca and Thabo Matlaba managed to complete the full training session as they are still under medical observation for an abdominal muscle strain and a painful toe respectively. Andile Jali continued to train on his own due to a dislocated shoulder, while fellow midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo didn’t finish the session because of tight thigh muscles. According Dr Thulani Ngwenya, Bafana Bafana Team Doctor, it is nothing too serious, but merely a precaution.
